YOUR HOME, PROPERLY PREPARED

Give your home a clean, coordinated exterior

A render finish can change the look of a house, bringing tired elevations together and complementing new or existing windows and doors. Silicone rendering is one of the options we offer. We start with the wall condition and the required build-up, then agree the texture and colour that fit your home.

THE SCOPE OF YOUR HOUSE RENDERING WORK

What goes into the finished exterior?

01

Existing render and substrate

We assess the existing render and underlying surface. Significant defects or loose material need attention before a new system can be specified.

02

The complete render system

A render finish is more than its top coat. Preparation, base layers and detailing must be compatible with the selected system and substrate.

03

Colour and fine texture

A pale finish can brighten an elevation; a stronger shade can highlight architectural details. The final colour and texture are agreed as part of the specification.

04

Detailing and weather conditions

Edges, junctions and openings need careful finishing. Application and curing are planned around conditions suitable for the chosen material.

BEFORE YOU BOOK

House rendering questions, answered

Straightforward answers to help you take the next step.

Is silicone rendering suitable for every house?

No single render system suits every building. Wall construction, existing coatings, exposure and moisture behaviour all matter. Older or traditionally built walls may need a different approach.

Can new render go over existing render?

It depends on adhesion, condition and compatibility. Loose or failing render may need to be removed. The survey establishes the appropriate preparation and system.

Will rendering improve insulation?

Render alone is not the same as external wall insulation. We do not claim energy savings from a decorative finish; any insulation proposal requires its own specification.

Does silicone render need maintenance?

Yes. Inspect the exterior and rainwater goods, and follow the product-specific cleaning and care guidance. No exterior finish is completely maintenance-free.
