YOUR HOME, PROPERLY PREPARED
A coating can refresh tired render, roughcast or masonry without changing the character of your home. We assess the existing surface first, so the proposed work addresses preparation as well as the visible finish. Loose material, damaged areas and the cause of staining need attention before a new coating is applied.

THE SCOPE OF YOUR WALL COATINGS WORK
We look at the condition of the coating, paint or render and identify the preparation needed. The existing finish must be suitable for the proposed system.
The written scope sets out cleaning, removal of loose material and any necessary surface repairs. Significant movement or unresolved damp needs investigation rather than simply another coat.
The coating, colour and application method are chosen for the wall. Coverage, number of coats and drying conditions depend on the specified product.
Finishing around openings and adjoining surfaces matters as much as the main wall. Your quote should make access, protection, waste handling and any separate work clear.
HOW THE WORK COMES TOGETHER
Assess wall condition, exposure, access and the finish you want.
Prepare the substrate and carry out the agreed repairs before coating.
Apply the specified system in suitable conditions, allowing the required drying time.
Review the finish and explain the care and written warranty terms.

A SPECIFICATION FOR YOUR PROPERTY
Your wall area, existing finish, preparation and access all affect the work. We explain the proposed scope before you decide.
BEFORE YOU BOOK
Straightforward answers to help you take the next step.
Often, provided it is sound and compatible with the proposed coating. Loose, hollow or failing material may require removal or replacement first. A survey establishes whether coating is suitable.
A coating is not a cure for every cause of damp. Leaking gutters, defects, condensation and moisture within the wall may need separate attention. We assess the exterior before recommending work.
No. A decorative or protective coating should not be treated as a replacement for a designed insulation system. We do not promise heating-bill savings from coating alone.
Wall area, existing condition, preparation, access and product specification determine the quote. Our costs page explains these factors; a free survey gives you a price for your own property.
